About Us

Upstream Publications Limited (UPL) started trading in September 2001 under the leadership of Managing Director Natasha Coker-Jones.

In 1997, Natasha graduated with honours from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. She also emerged with the coveted CARIMAC top print student award at the end of her final year at Mona. Over the years, Natasha has distinguished herself in the communications field. She has worked as a Reporter with the Trinidad Express Newspaper, one of T&T's top daily newspapers and has experienced first-hand the dynamics of publishing on an international level, first in Jamaica and later in Manhattan, New York. Her desire to help persons from all walks of life to improve their quality of life through more effective communication, led her to start Upstream Publications Limited.

Over the years UPL has distinguished itself as a competent, reliable and innovative firm dedicated to finding solutions for a growing clientele in an ever-changing global communications sphere.

To be a leader in the provision of professional, quality-driven media, publishing and communications services in the region and beyond.

In 2006, Upstream Publications Limited relaunched its flagship Upstream Magazine. This lifestyle magazine spans the gamut of life and human experiences with topics that are both relevant and practical for today’s challenges.

On April 2nd, 2009 UPL launched UpstreamMagazine.com, which replaces the printed version of Upstream Magazine. By going green, UpstreamMagazine.com has signalled UPL's desire to help our clients to incorporate new media technology in their strategic marketing mix.
